Ginger Tea Recipes and Its Benefits to Fight Common Cold

Keeping ourselves healthy during this time of Coronavirus is our main priority. However, there are some of us who cannot really avoid having common colds because of our changing weather and other factors. We’ve listed down some recipes and benefits of Ginger Tea you can enjoy to relieve a congested feeling caused by a common cold or other respiratory allergies.    

Ginger Tea Recipe:

Here’s what you need:

-          4 cups of water

-          1/2 cup of Mascobado Sugar by Alter Trade

-          ¼ cup grated ginger root

-          3 tea bags of Twinings Lemon and Ginger /

 

3 tbsp of Healtea Ginger Tea (Instant Tea)

-          2 lemons, juiced

-          3 tbsp of natural honey

How to do it:

1.       Mix and boil water, Mascobado Sugar, and grated ginger root in a saucepan; reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes.

2.       Remove the saucepan from heat and add the Twinings Lemon and Ginger Tea bags for 3-4 minutes depending on your desired strength then remove the teabags. If you are using the Healtea Instant Ginger Tea, just add 3 tbsp to the saucepan.

3.       Mix in lemon juice and honey into the tea.

4.       Strain into a pitcher.

5.       Enjoy your ginger tea!
